I was always amazed by Matthew Bellamy’s uncanny ability to play guitar and sing, albeit the fact that he seldom does both at the same time. Still, it’s quiet impressive feat. This is Plug in Baby; ‘tis the first song by Muse I’ve listened to. It was background music for a video compilation of Steven Gerrard, if I remember correctly. Muse’s experimental yet familiar sound combined with Bellamy’s passionate high notes broke my heart then, and it will always break my heart.
